I checked out tippsysake.com because I was hoping to find some harder-to-get sake bottles, but most of the ones I actually wanted were already sold out.

What got old fast was seeing the bottles still listed, clicking in, and then realizing there was nothing to buy. I get it, rare stuff sells out quickly, but having that explained over and over doesn’t make the browsing any less frustrating.

Maybe the site is fine if you’re just picking up regular bottles, but for rare sake it felt like a waste of time. I don’t see myself going back anytime soon.

I got this as a birthday gift and it showed up packed really well. My friend seemed to like it a lot, so that was good. Shipping was a little slower than I was expecting, but it wasn’t a huge deal or anything. I’d probably order from them again if I needed another gift

As someone who really enjoys trying different sake and actually cares about the bottles and labels, this was frustrating. The box had barely any padding, and one of the bottles showed up leaking with the label completely soaked. For glass bottles, I expected much better packaging. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again.

I was hoping they’d have more sake options, but the selection felt sorta limited. A few things I was looking for weren’t available, so I ended up leaving without buying anything.

I ordered three bottles of sake and somehow two of them were completely different from what I picked. It wasn’t like a similar swap either — they were just wrong. I was looking forward to trying the ones I chose, so it kind of took the fun out of the whole order. Mistakes happen, of course, but the slow response from support made it feel like fixing it wasn’t much of a priority.

The prices were really fair, and I ended up getting more than I expected. Who doesn’t love that? Shipping went smoothly too, so no complaints there. I’d definitely buy again the next time I need sake.
